Fashion fashion week Must Haves

Our Ultimate Fall Fashion Guide

"Afghani and Rajasthani accents are very trendy right now and look amazing on statement jackets".

Autumn is here, which means between cold mornings and hot afternoons our looks might do a complete 360. Winter is a time to embrace rich, textured layers, but until then, we totally see this season as a kinda test-run for all our summer favorites fused with all the pieces that will soon be replacing them. SA Fashion Week is also on our doorstep and we can totally guarantee the hottest trend inspiration right here on the blog. From hot pinks and fringed details to beautiful embellishments and delicate runching – our favourite looks for fall are the perfect balance of all our favourite street style and runway trends spotted during New York, Paris and Milan fashion week.

Rock N Roll Fringe: Fringe details always seem to make their way into transitional season trends. It’s versatile and cool. Style a statement fringe jacket with a pair of slim-fitted slacks, super plain T and a pair of 1461 Dr Martens. We love it with a platform heel as pictured below, but we’d play it safe and keep our toes warm over the next few weeks.

Hot Pink: It’s sexy, it’s fun and it’s feisty as fuck. A hot pink is great on almost any skin tone and can be creatively paired with some color blocking elements or you can keep it cool with a monotone look. Style it with your favorite sunnies and lipstick to match.

Runching: Diane von Furstenburg, Tom Ford and Dolce & Gabanna showcased runching details in their latest runway shows. It’s a romantic look that looks great styled with a pair of your favorite jeans, nude pumps and a matching clutch.

Who What Wear

Embellishments: Embellished statement pieces are always a staple at events like Fashion Week. It can be worn with almost anything and make it look like a strategic plan meticulously planned by your stylist. We love the look of a medium length jacket paired with a fitted midi dress and delicate high-heeled sandals.

Oversized Sweaters: Yea, we just cannot get enough of the oversized sweater. It’s cosy and stylish and why not feel comfortable when you’re killing it at you next cocktail party. We love the contrast of heavy textures paired with denims and even sexy PVCs. Style your Sweater with a great shoulder chain bag and a pair of high-heeled booties. We’d totally choose a pointed booty this season.
