Trend Watch: MBFWA

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA) is one of the most popular Fashion Weeks in the world. Contemporary influencers and fashion insiders have a flair for styling unique looks by taking current trends and fusing it with their often eccentric personal styles. We’re taking our style inspo straight from these looks for the Winter ahead.

Knits: Kints are huge this season. We saw lots of knits in different styles and textures. Pair in with a great micro pleated skirt and your favourite pair of Converse, which by the way, everyone was wearing during fashion week.

Denim: Yea look, denim is not going anywhere. For a moment we thought it’s over, but creatives are styling statement denim pieces like this jacket below better than ever. Invest in a good quality piece and you’ll never want to be without it.

Plaid: Momma wasn’t joking when she said plaid would stay! This simple and classic textile will always have a place in our closets. This simple design looks great with basic, solid pieces like a collared shirt and pumps.

Whites: You may think whites for winter is totally bizarre, but these street style looks prove otherwise. Go for an all-white ensemble and contrast it with dark or bright coloured accessories.
